3 speed automatic (A670) | Bought new in April 1992. Transmission rebuilt 11/09/1999 at 46816 miles. Failure mode was slipping in all forward gears. After rebuild, trnsmission did not seem as crisp as when new. Mechanic said there are no adjustments. Milage now 74674 and it's started to whine during moderate acceleration in all three gears, but not too bad after lockup. Still fun to drive. Great engine, starts better than my F150. |
